Kim Sung- Kyu is a South Korean singer and actor known by the names Sunggyu or Sungkyu. He was born on 28 April 1989 in Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, South Korea. He has a sibling named Kim Ji-Eun. Kim completed his graduation from Daekyung University in the Practical Music program.

He is a member (leader and main vocalist) of the boy band Infinite. Earlier, he was under Woollim Entertainment and is currently under the Double H label. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2010, with his debut through the boyband Infinite in 2010. In 2012, he made his debut as a musical actor in the lyrical 'Gwanghwamun Sonata.'

Kim Sung-Kyu made his solo debut in 2012 with the play, Another Me. He has also worked in 27, released in 2015, and Inside Me, released in 2020. Studio albums he has worked on are Ten stories, released on 26 February 2018; Kim Sungkyu 1^st Solo Concert Live- Shine is a live album that was sung by him and released on 24 August 2018. He has also released singles such as Don't Move (2018), I'm Cold (2020), and Hush (2021) as a solo artist.

Kim Sung- Kyu has also worked as an actor in films like INFINITE Concert Second Invasion Evolution the Movie 3D (2012) and Grow: Infinite's Real Youth Life (2014). The television series he has worked in are The Thousandth Man (2012), Pure Love (2013), Like Likes Like (2020), and Wild Idol (2021). He has been nominated for the Golden Disc Award Album Division.
