Kim Sang Hyub

Kim Sang Hyub is a South Korean director. He started his career in 2008 with the MBC series, Before and After Plastic Surgery Clinic. Written by Kim Soo Jin, Kim Sang Hyub directed the series in association with Kim Min Sik. It got telecasted on Sundays. In 2009, he co-directed Cinderella Man with Yu Jeong Jun. It was telecasted from 15th April 2009 – 4th June 2009 on Wednesdays and Thursdays. In 2010, Kim directed Dong Yi in association with Lee Byung-Hoon. Han Hyo-Joo and Bae Su-Bin played the lead roles. The Next year, he came with Royal Family on MBC. Kim Do Hoon co-directed the series. Ji Sung and Yum Jung-Ah played the lead roles. In 2013, he directed 7^th Grade Civil Servant. Oh Hyun Jong co-directed the series that featured Choi Gang-Hee, Joo Won, Chansung, Ahn Nae-Sang, and Uhm Tae-Woong in main roles. It was telecasted on MBC. In 2014, he once again directed a series for MBC, Mama. This is his first solo directorial venture. Song Yoon A, Jung Joon Ho, Moon Jeong-Hee, Hong Jong-Hyun, and Yoon Chan-Young are cast.

In 2015, he was seen directing Glamorous Temptation, a 50-episode series that telecast on Mondays and Tuesdays. Kim Hee Won co-directed the series. Choi Gang-Hee, Joo Sang-Wook, Cha Ye-Ryun, Jung Jin-Young, and Kim Mi-Kyung are seen in the lead roles. In 2017, Kim directed The King In Love with Kim Sang Woo, featuring Im Si-Wan, Lim Yoon-A,       Hong Jong-Hyun, Kim Jung-Wook, and Bang Jae-Ho. Extraordinary You is his directorial venture in 2019. Kim Sang Woo joined Kim Sang Hyub in directing this series. Kim Hye-Yoon, Ro Woon, Lee Jae-Wook, and Lee Na-Eun were seen in important roles. In 2020, he directed a series for TVN, True Beauty, featuring Mun Ka-Young, Cha Eun-Woo, Hwang In-Yeop, and Park Yoo-Na. In 2021, Kim directed Melancholia featuring Lim Soo-Jung, Lee Do-Hyun, Jin Kyung, Choi Dae-Hoon, Jang Hyun-Sung, Pyeon Jung-Su, Kim Ho-Jin, Baek Ji-Won, and Woo Da-Vi.
