Joo Dong-min

Joo Dong-Min is a South Korean director cum producer. He started his career as an assistant director in 2004 with the series, Rays of Sunshine. Kim Jong Hyeok directed it. He had also worked as an AD in the series, Magic directed by Hong Chang Wook. In 2006, Joo Dong Min worked in Yeon Gae Somun as the assistant director. In 2008, he started his career as a director with the series Innocent You. Park Tam Hee, Im Yae Won, and Ahn Jae Mo played the lead roles. His directorial venture Youth Heaven was released in 2010, featuring Choi Bool Am, Jung Young Sook, Jung Ae Ri, and Kim Jin Geun. His next venture was Take Care Of Us Captain. Besides her, the series had Kim Ji Han, Lee Jung Hyun, and Oh Sang Jin in the main roles. In 2016, he directed Yeongju. Han Da Gam, Choi Min Soo, and Kim Hee Jung played important roles. From 2018 to 2021, he directed four dramas penned by Kim Soon Ok, including The Last Empress, The Penthouse: War in Life, The Penthouse 2, and The Penthouse 3. Jang Na-ra, Shin Sung-rok, Choi Jin-hyuk, Shin Eun-Kyung, and Lee Elijah played the main roles in The Last Empress. The Pent House series had Lee Ji-ah, Kim So-Yeon, Eugene, Um Ki-Joon, Yoon Jong-hoon, Shin Eun-Kyung, Bong Tae-kyu, Park Eun-Seok, Yoon Joo-hee, and Ha Do-Kwon in the lead roles. Besides directing the series, Joo Dong Min had produced a series in 2012. Jo So Woon directed the series with Moon Geun Young, Park Shi Hoo, So Yi Hyun, and Kim Ji Suk.
