Kim Dae-Myung was born on the 16th of February; 1981. He is educated from The Sungkyunkwan University, Department of Acting Arts. He is known by many of his nick-names; these include: Daeri Kim, Daemaeng, Dam, Mudang, Agrippa. He is currently not signed with any agency, as his contract with Prain TPC expired in June 2020. He practices a religion called Protestantism. He joined the main cast of the series “Misaeng” (“Incomplete Life”) on the 17th of October, 2014, where he played Kim Dong-Shik, the assistant sales team manager. He became known to the public after working in “Misaeng” in his 20s and 40s.

On the 9th of November; 2016, he joined the main cast of a series, “The Sound of Your Heart,” where he played Jo Joon, the older brother of Jo Seok. He even became popular among elementary school students after he appeared in “The Sound of Your Heart.” On the 12th of March; 2020, he joined the main cast of the “Hospital Playlist” series where he plays Dr. Yang Seok-Hyung, a doctor of obstetric and gynaecological surgery at “Yulje Medical Center.” He is currently practicing playing the piano for his activities in Mido FaLaSol (Hospital Playlist).
