So Ji Sub is a South Korean actor, born on 4th November 1977 in Incheon, South Korea. He has an elder sister, and she is settled in Australia. His parents are divorced. So Ji Sub is a professional swimmer and had been in sports for 11 years. He grabbed a bronze medal at the Korean National Games. So Ji Sub hadn’t ever dreamed of becoming an actor. When modeling came by his way in 1995, he accepted it. His acting career started with a TV series, Three Guys And Three Girls and Model. He gained popularity in the early 2000s. In 2002, he featured in Glass Slippers as the second lead. In 2003, he played the lead role in Thousand Years Of Love, a historical drama based on time travel. After playing in What Happened In Bali, his fan base got extended. I’m Sorry I Love You was the drama that brought him fame and confidence. After this series, he became one of the top Korean stars of the year.

In 2005, he went to serve in the military and returned in 2007. He worked as a public relations officer in the Mapo District office. Cain and Abel, I am GHOST, Road No. 1, Phantom, Master's Sun, One Sunny Day, Warm and Cozy, Oh My Venus, My Secret Terrius, and Dr. Lawyer are some of his drama series. He had also worked in films. In fact, after coming back from the military, he restarted his career in the movie Rough Cut. Can't Live Without Robbery, Kitaro and the Millennium Curse, a short film, U-Turn, Sophie's Revenge, Always, A Company Man, The Throne, The Battleship Island, Be with You, and Confession are some of his movies.
