Ji Soo is also known as Kim Ji Soo. Ji Soo is a South Korean model and actor. On March 30, 1993, he was born in Busan, South Korea. He took majors in Film from the Digital Seoul Culture Arts University, South Korea. He studied in all Men’s Middle School and High School. He has two pet dogs named Gap Soon and Gong Joo. Ji Soo aspired to become a professional judo athlete in elementary school, and he also competed at the national level. Later, he gave up due to injuries in middle school and started his career as an actor. In 2009, he marked his acting debut career with the stage play “Boon Sam Wasn’t There.”

Consequently, he starred in many short films, including the lead role in the Korean-Filipino independent film Seoul Mates (2014). In 2012, he marked his television show debut with “To The Beautiful You,” aired on SBS. He first gained fame in a high school television series titled “Angry Mom” in 2015. The drama aired on MBC, and he was nominated at 34th MBC Drama Awards for ‘Best New Actor in a Miniseries’ and ‘Best Couple Award with Kim Hee Sun.’ Later, he starred in JTBC’s television series “Strong Girl Bong-soon” in 2017, where he played the role of In Gook-du. He was nominated at 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards for Best New Actor in Television and 13th Soompi Awards for Best Supporting Actor in the male category.

Ji Soo marked his theatrical film debut with the drama film “Beastie Boys” in 2007. In 2016, he starred in the South Korean film “One Way Trip,” directed by Choi Jung-yeol, where he portrayed the role of Yong-bi. He was nominated for his role in the movie at 30th KBS Drama Awards and 22nd Chusna Film Art Awards for Best New Actor. Also, he won prestigious awards, including ‘Rising Star Award’ at the 11th Max Movie Awards and the 2nd Asia Artist Awards. He received the ‘Actor of the Year Award’ at the Busan International Film Festival for ‘Our Joyful Summer Days.’

Also, he made his appearance in Music Video titled “Wind” in 2018. Apart from his television and film roles, he has also appeared in various shows, including Celebrity Bromance (2016) and My Ear’s Candy (2016). He served the military in 2021. He did four weeks of basic military training, after which he was assigned to work in the social worker department.
