Ahn Woo-Yeon, also known as Ahn Byeong-ho, is a South Korean actor. He works under JS Pictures. On January 7, 1991, he was born in Ansan in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He completed his graduation at Songho High School. Later, he studied at Seoul National University of the Arts (Department of Acting). Ahn Woo-Yeon marked his acting debut in 2015 with the television series titled “Alchemist,” where he played the role of Byeong Ho. Since then, he has portrayed various roles in the South Korean television series. In 2017, he starred in the South Korean television series “Strong Girl Bong – Soon,” which streamed on JTBC from February 24 to April 15, 2017.
In 2018, he acted in a television romantic comedy-drama series named “Nice Witch,” starring Lee Da-Hae, Ryu Soo-Young, Bae Soo-bin, and Yoon Se-ah. The show premiered on SBS on March 3, 2018, and he portrayed the role of Oh Tae-yang. He was nominated for the Best New Actor category for the performance at the 26th SBS Drama Awards in 2018, presented by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS). In the same year, he featured in the television series “Let’s Eat 3,” which premiered on July 16, 2018, where he played the role of Sunwoo Sun.
He starred in the Korean drama “The Banker” on MBC with a business, political, and drama genre, aired on March 27, 2019. This drama is the remake of Japanese manga titled “Kansayaku Nozaki Shuhei,” illustrated by Shigeru Noda from 1998 to 2002 and written by Ryouka Shuu. He played the hilarious role of Seo Bo-Geol in the series. Ahn Woo-Yeon was also nominated for the Excellence Award and Actor in a Short Drama category at MBC Drama Awards in 2021 for the show, Check Out the Event. He also starred in the South Korean movie “Omok Girl,” where he portrayed the prominent role of Kim Ahn Kyung.
