Hindi Writer Tanveer Alam

Tanveer Alam is an Indian producer, writer, and production designer who works principally in the Hindi industry. Born and raised up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, Tanveer Alam has completed his Bachelor's with honors in Geography but, he had an interest in the media industry that made him enroll in a post-graduation diploma in Journalism at Aligarh Muslim University. He marked his career as an associate director in the Hindi television series Sabse Bada Rupaiya (2005) that aired on SONY SAB.

Tanveer Alam went on to work on feature films such as Munna Pandey Berozgaar (2007), Bin Phere Free Me Tere (2013), and 1:13:7 Ek Tera Saath (2016), as a Second Unit Director. He has also directed limited short movies like NadaanArzoo (2014), Selfie Selfie Song (2015), My Son (2017). Apart from the director, Tanveer Alam has worked as a writer for TV shows and short films. In 2007, he worked in the dialogue department of the movie Munna Pandey Berozgaar (2007). He initially served as executive producer on the show SsshhhhPhir Koi Hai (2006). Tanveer subsequently worked on the production designer of series, such as Ek Veer Stree Ki Kahaani Jhansi Ki Rani (2009), Open Call (2012), Maru Dhar MharoGhar (2014). Throughout his producer stint, he had worked with production houses such as Endemol, Swastik Pictures, Auto Motion Pictures, Zee Media Corporation Limited.

Tanveer Alam also had a brief stint as an actor featuring in movies and shows such as Sabse Bada Rupaiyya (2005), Maru Dhar MharoGhar (2014), Ishq Hua Awara (2015). Tanveer Alam is married to SheebaAlam, a Playback Singer in Bollywood. In 2011, he found Gramin Gyan Center for Villagers, and in 2012 Tanveer started Cinema Library for Cinema Lovers, for which several public figures such as Baba Ram Dev have donated books. He is the Managing Director of Progressive Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2016 that set out to improve access to quality of education and marriage for underprivileged people. With more than a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Tanveer Alam has become a prominent figure and has appeared in several events as chief guest.
