Ruchita Misra is an author and Indian writer. She is popular for her novel named “Someone to Love” which is one of the bestselling novels. Many other novels like “I Do! Do I,” Second Chance at Love,” etc. are also among the bestselling novels. She is currently 33 years of age. From Zee TV and the Government of U.P. (Uttar Pradesh), Ruchita got the Award Samman in the year 2012. She has got this award for her contribution to the field of literature.

She is a triple gold medalist and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade situated in New Delhi, India. She now works and lives in London, and has also worked in “Bharti Airtel.” She was born in Lucknow which is a city in Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) state. She spent her initial days of childhood in Lucknow only.

She has completed her schooling from “La Martiniere” which is situated in Lucknow. She was a topper of her school. Then, she went to Institute of Engineering and Technology to complete the degree of B.Tech (Bachelor in Technology) which is also situated in Lucknow. She also topped there, and in all the three semesters. To complete her degree of MBA, she came to New Delhi and joined Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. There, she has been awarded three gold medals.

Till now, she has written four books named “Second chance at love" released in the year 2015, “The (In) eligible Bachelors released in the year 2012,” "Someone to Love" in the year 2017, and “I Do! Do I?” released in the year 2014. Despite being an author and writer, she is also an entrepreneur and sales director. She also has her website named “www.ruchitamisra.com.” Currently, she is working as sales director in London in a telecommunications company. She knew it from the starting that she will be a writer one day, but she had been so busy with her education and academic work. That is why she never got the chance to pursue her passion.

When she moved to London and was hunting for a job, at that time she started writing and wrote the novel named “The (In) eligible Bachelors.” She has also won many awards like “Awadh Samman” from Zee TV and U.P. Government, in the year 2012, Gold Medal at IIFT for highest CGPA from the year 2007 to 2009, Dun and Bradstreet Gold Medal at IIFT for Best Student from 2007 to 2009, Ratan Tata National Scholarship at IIFT for consistent performance in academics, and many more.
