Harinder S. Sikka is associated with multiple professions. He is an Author, Businessman, Retired Indian Navy Personnel, and Film Producer. He was born in Delhi, and he graduated from Delhi University in 1979. Sikkawas settled in Delhi with his family. Currently, he is serving as the group director of strategic business in the Piramal Group. He joined the Indian Navy, just after he completed his graduation.
He is commissioned in 1981, and he took early retirement in 1993. He was a lieutenant commander during the time of his retirement. He also produced a film, Nanak Shah Fakir, which is appreciated in the various film festival of Cannes, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
The film won three national awards.Also it won the Nargis Dutt Award for the best feature film in national integration. Sikka has shown his awareness towards the welfare of the society; in 1999, he was leading a campaign which was against the specious drugs. Even he filed a PIL against the Union Health Minister, as the minister was unable to control the drug deals. He also gave financial support to the families in Telangana, where the farmers committed suicide.
