Anusha Sreenivasan Iyer is an Indian writer, director, and media strategist, predominantly known for work in the Hindi film industry. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Bombay. Sreenivasan started as a sports journalist before moving on to start a career in the field of public relations and media strategy. She has worked in various capacities in the media industry, including in organizations such as the BBC, The Times of India, The Telegraph, etc. In 2005, she founded Narad PR and Image strategists. She went on to work prominently with many stalwarts in the Hindi film industry. As an Image strategist, she garnered wide recognition within the industry and went on to win the Suvidha Gaurav Awards for Best Media Strategy & Image Building and the National Award for Excellence in Media Strategisation and Image Management.
She has worked as a writer in shows such as Parchayian and Crime Patrol and has written for almost 14 Indonesian Tele serials. She wrote and directed the short films Saare Sapne Apne Hain and The Wait. Her short films were featured in many film festivals worldwide and won numerous accolades. She has been a vocal critic of animal rights violations and has worked extensively to rehabilitate stray and abused animals. Iyer also works to promote progressive gender discourse and encourage environmentalism.
