Merzin Tavaria

Born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, in 1973, Merzin Tavaria is a well-known personality in the Visual Effects world. Merzin completed his graduation from K.C. College, Mumbai, and started his career as a teacher in a Computer Institute. In 1997, Merzin, along with his two friends, came up with the idea of entering the visual world. From there began the journey of ‘Prime Focus.’ Prime Focus is a media service house, which provides creative services and production and post-production services. Merzin is the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Director of Prime Focus.

He is also the Creative Director and General Manager at Double Negative India. Prime Focus works in collaboration with the US, Canada, India and UK Studios. Talking about his work, Merzin’s Prime Focus has delivered visual effects not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood and Commercials.
