Sulagna Chatterjee is a television actress who has appeared in quite a few TV shows. These include Saubhagyavati Bhava, Sanskar- Dharohar Apnon Ki, Mahadev, and Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. She played the role of Sia in Saubhagyavati Bhava and even won a Golden Achievers Award in Performing Arts for this role. The show was aired on Life OK from December 18th, 2011 till January 18th, 2013 and had a relevant message opposing domestic violence. On Sanskar- Dharohar Apnon Ki, she portrayed Komal. Spruha Joshi is an Indian actress, who works predominantly in Marathi films. She has appeared in many theatre plays and is a famous figure in Marathi television world as well. Apart from acting, Spruha is enthusiastic about composing poems and writing lyrics for Marathi movies and albums. Spruha was born in Mumbai. Her father is a company employee and mother is a homemaker. Kshipra Joshi is her younger sister and reserves passion for sports. Spruha has married Varad Laghate. She was also a part of the popular Punjabi Film Chann Pardesi in which she played Amrish Puri’s wife. She also played Shahrukh Khan’s and Hrithik Roshan’s maternal grandmother in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and no one can ever forget her memorable role as Lajoji in Kal Ho Naa Ho. In television, apart from Hum Log, she was also a part of Dekh Bhai Dekh, in which she played the role of Divan family’s matriarch. In Hum log, her character’s role had to be extended, because she was loved by all viewers. She is working with Aparna, an NGO, since the year 2000 and has also penned the play Sitaaron Ke Paas that is based on the life of the late astronaut Kalpana Chawla. She was recently seen in Student of the Year and Shaandaar.
