Simran Nerurkar

Simran Nerurkar is an actor and a model from Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her mother’s name is Milan Nerurkar, and she is a professional film producer. Her father’s name is Sameer Anil Nerurkar, a business personality by profession. Simran got a huge limelight in June 2023 with the release of the song “Kyun,” where she portrayed the lead role with Sohail Nayyar. Simran Nerurkar belongs to a well-known Hindu family. Simran went to St. Gregorios High School, Mumbai, and then St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, to complete her primary education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree.

After completing her education and graduating, she joined the film industry. Simran got her first breakthrough in 2021 with the release of the web series Sunflower by Zee5, where she played the role of Gurleen. The story of Sunflower revolves around a murder mystery and a family of middle-class society in Mumbai. Simran Nerurkar and her family own a production company, Sameera Entertainment Pvt Ltd., where her mother is assigned as a producer. Besides her acting in the film industry, Simran also has acting experience in theatre. In February 2018, she acted in the theatre play Night Must Fall [an adaptation of Emlyn Williams ‘Night Must Fall’], directed by Simran Vijan & Darshil Shah. She also calls herself a writer and singer as she writes poems and sings for her hobby or in her spare time.
