But this actress is a popular TV face even before Balaji Telefilms came into existence. Roopa Divetia has a career in the field of entertainment and theater for over four decades, especially Gujarat.

Many generations have seen her performance and liked her screen persona. Her notable performance includes Radha from 'Huto-Huti No Ghar Sansar’, a first TV series telecast on Doordarshan. She also then got notices in daily soap like 'Ghar Ek Mandir' that was telecast on Sony India on 2000. In ‘Kkusum’, which was telecast on Sony TV in 2001, she got national fame. Later on, she portrayed various roles in Hindi TV serials. In these shows, she played roles that were focused on saas-bahu tracks.
