Leena Shah is a very well known Gujarati stage actress who has made a successful entry in to Hindi TV serials. She has acted in a number of Gujarati plays like Bhabhu retire thay che, Gujju Bhai A Gaam Gajavyu, Ba Ne Ghar Babu Avyo and Aankhon Ni Pele paar and many others. Her performances in these plays have always been great and she has earned her strong reputation by hard work and sincerity to the theatre.

She had been acting in professional Gujarati theatre even before completion of her graduation. After completion of graduation, she joined India International Trade Centre and obtained a diploma on Fashion designing. After tat she took acting as her full fledged career and has since been working in Gujarati theatre regularly.

After working for more than 10 years in Gujarati theatre, she made an entry into Hindi TV serials with a role in Byah Hamari Bahoo Ka. The serial was produced by Hats Off Productions and was telecast on Sony TV. and Shrenu Praksh were in the lead roles and Leena played the role of Surbhi Rajan Gandhi and the role of her husband Rajan Gandhi was played by . She played the role of a modern Indian woman, a wizard in corporate world who takes all necessary business decisions with desired levels of confidence whereas at home she is the loving and caring wife. Her performance in the serial caught the eyes of viewers as well as critics and she was rated very highly by the industry for her superb performance.

She is married to and they run their own company in the name of Leena Creations. She also designs the dresses for her plays and serials apart from acting.
