Yogesh Pagare was born and brought up in Mumbai. He is an Indian actor, writer and director; actively involved in theater and television. Born in a police family, ‘
Yogi
’ (as he is called by his friends), was forced into joining the police department, but he had an inclination towards the film industry. He was introduced to the enigmatic world of Indian cinema by his father. He won plenty of awards and accolades when he was in the second grade. He directed his first play in the sixth grade: a true sign of high-level intuitiveness.
The question of why Yogesh Pagare didn’t stay in the family business is one that lingered unanswered for a long time. It was not until insight cinema conducted an interview that we were informed about why ‘Yogi’ decided to become an actor. He wanted to be the change; He wanted to create a ripple in this tiny world on Indian Cinema.
