Khushboo Purohit is a gorgeous Indian television dancer and an actress who started her career and got her fame after joining the dance competition show, Dance India Dance on Zee TV. Her beautiful look and breathtaking dancing moves impressed so many people including the judges of DID challenge in 2009. Khushboo was hailed in Sirohi and moved to Mumbai to pursue her dancing skills. She trained for 5 years in Bharatanatyam along with her sister, Bhavana. Her idols are Urmila Matondkar, Madhuri Dixit and Shakira. She was known for doing the Shakira moves and her belly dancing performances. In her venture on the Season 1 of DID, she gave her remarkable performance and stole the hearts of many viewers. Even Grandmaster Mithun Da was impressed by her dancing talent and saved Khushboo from the elimination. She made it to be on Top 7.
Later, she got many offers to do television serials, movies and to perform in several shows. She was debuted as a television actress in the drama series, Sasuraal Genda Phool on STAR Plus under the direction of Ravi Ojha. She played the role of Swati in the crime drama series, Waaris on Zee TV channel in 2008.
She was also given a chance to appear in the super hit crime drama film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram – Leela on 2013 with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. The film is based on the story of William Shakepeare’s Romeo and Juliet under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This film has become the highest-grossing film in 2013 and gained several awards and recognitions. Khushboo's impressive style on acting helped her in bagging the recent Bollywood film, Meinu Ek Ladki Chaahiye and the Hindi film, Babloo Happy Hai. This talented actress openly shared her passion for acting, though she enjoys dancing more.
She was also roped in to essay the character of a cool girl who aspires on marrying a wealthy doctor that will give him a luxurious kind of life in the recent drama series, Hamari Sister Didi on Sony Pal. She also did an episodic in the weekly crime based serial, Hum Ne Li Hai…Shapath on Life OK.
Khushboo was interested in acting since childhood and at the same time, she likes to dance and she is now fascinated to the glamour world. Either way, she’s been getting positive responses from the viewers and she thanked the Dance India dance for giving her the opportunity and she hoped that the show will make it to the Top 5 shows on STAR Plus.

Khushboo Grewal

Khushboo Grewal is a Punjabi television and film actress; she is also a VJ and a popular singer from India. She was born on January 16, 1984 at Chandigarh, India. She initiated her career by representing the Chandigarh in the international reality show, Popstar in Channel V. Recently, she became popular for being a playback singer in the song, Pink Lips from which the Bollywood thriller film, Hate Story 2 uses as their soundtrack and it topped the national and international charts and the song Lak Tunu Tunu from the film, Double Di Trouble. She completed MBA major in Marketing. And then, she made her presence on television as a VJ in B4U since the year 2007. In 2009, she played the role of the partygoer Candy in the Punjabi film, Munde U.K. De. She was also part of the Bollywood horror film, Raaz: The Mystery Continues. She was roped in to play the role of Khushboo Khandelwal on STAR One in the Indian soap, Rang Badalti Odhani in 2010. Khushboo was also in the Buena Vista International and the Red Chillies Idiot Box’ show, Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De. Then in year 2011, she was essayed to do the role of the antagonist, Khushboo Meerchandani in the dance-based fiction show, Dil Dosti Dance on Channel V India and as Lipika Mahajan in Sony TV’s Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyar. In 2012, she appeared as Preet Kaur in the Punjabi comedy film, Carry On Jatta. She was also known as Kaikeyi in the mythological drama, Ramleela – Ajay Devgn Ke Saath. Khushboo became popular for being a runner-up in the Miss India North pageant and in 2002, she was a finalist in the show, Popstar Hunt on Channel V. From being an anchor to compering in some college events, Khushboo has come a very long way. She is currently experimenting on her appearances for films, television and even in documentaries.  She was also a presenter in the show, Just TV. In 2013, Khushboo made her appearance in the Punjabi comedy film, Bhaji in Problem under the direction of Smeep Kang. She played as one of the female lead and one among the two wives of Sundeep Cheema (played by Gurpreet Ghuggi). Aside from that, Khushboo was also appeared in the reality-based comedy show, Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali and the dance-based show, Dil Dosti Dance. Khushboo was nominated as The Best Supporting Actress at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2013.

Khushboo Thakkar

Khushboo Thakkar is a renowned journalist turned television actress. She was hailed at Bhiwandi in Thane’s district, Maharashtra, India. Khushboo’s father is a photographer and her mother is a beautician. She has a sister who is studying B. Com and a brother who is in Class X. Khushboo made her schooling at the Holy Mary Convent High School and studied college at Nagindas Khandwala College in Mumbai. She took Bachelor of Mass Media (Journalism). Khushboo started to enter the industry after working as an intern in IBN7 and as a reporter in tellychakkar .com. Then a friend of her informed her that she exactly fits the character they were looking for in the UTV Binadass serial, Merit Oh Lay Gayi Naukari under the production of DJ’s Creative Unit. They insisted Khushboo to audition for the show. She was first a gossip girl who works in an office and the production changed it and she became a receptionist, but she was not happy with the new character so she quits on the show. Afterwards, she started to consistently audition for other roles and she became unemployed for few months. She did not attend any workshops as well, so it’s been a tough time for Khushboo; until she got the chance and acted in the comedy series, Mrs. Tendulkar and appeared on two episodes. From then, she started to appear in different shows. She became part of the soap, Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi on STAR One in 2011, replacing the character of Divya Bhhatnagar. Then, she made her appearance in Kya Huaa Tera Vaada as the cousin of Mona Singh. She also did her role as Honey in the television series, Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein. Khushboo also made an appearance in the comedy drama serial, Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum on STAR Plus.  She was also seen in the Indian drama series, Hongey Judaa Na Hum on Sony Entertainment TV in 2012. She played the role of Maria, the manager in the café of Muskaan (played by Aamna Shariff) who will become close to her. But later, Khushboo left the show because her role was reduced and sidelined. She even informed the creative team about this issue; however, her character remains unchanged. Khushboo Thakkar wanted to be a radio jockey at first, but she ended up in the acting industry. She wished to do distinct roles and reality shows except for the Bigg Boss, since she cannot survive and stay in the house for at least a day. She also wants to do Comedy Circus and some dance-based shows.
