Khushboo Purohit is a gorgeous Indian television dancer and an actress who started her career and got her fame after joining the dance competition show, Dance India Dance on Zee TV. Her beautiful look and breathtaking dancing moves impressed so many people including the judges of DID challenge in 2009. Khushboo was hailed in Sirohi and moved to Mumbai to pursue her dancing skills. She trained for 5 years in Bharatanatyam along with her sister, Bhavana. Her idols are , and Shakira. She was known for doing the Shakira moves and her belly dancing performances. In her venture on the Season 1 of DID, she gave her remarkable performance and stole the hearts of many viewers. Even Grandmaster Mithun Da was impressed by her dancing talent and saved Khushboo from the elimination. She made it to be on Top 7.

Later, she got many offers to do television serials, movies and to perform in several shows. She was debuted as a television actress in the drama series, Sasuraal Genda Phool on STAR Plus under the direction of . She played the role of Swati in the crime drama series, Waaris on Zee TV channel in 2008.

She was also given a chance to appear in the super hit crime drama film, Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram – Leela on 2013 with and . The film is based on the story of William Shakepeare’s Romeo and Juliet under the direction of . This film has become the highest-grossing film in 2013 and gained several awards and recognitions. Khushboo's impressive style on acting helped her in bagging the recent Bollywood film, Meinu Ek Ladki Chaahiye and the Hindi film, Babloo Happy Hai. This talented actress openly shared her passion for acting, though she enjoys dancing more.

She was also roped in to essay the character of a cool girl who aspires on marrying a wealthy doctor that will give him a luxurious kind of life in the recent drama series, on Sony Pal. She also did an episodic in the weekly crime based serial, Hum Ne Li Hai…Shapath on Life OK.

Khushboo was interested in acting since childhood and at the same time, she likes to dance and she is now fascinated to the glamour world.
