Khushboo Grewal is a Punjabi television and film actress; she is also a VJ and a popular singer from India. She was born on January 16, 1984 at Chandigarh, India. She initiated her career by representing the Chandigarh in the international reality show, Popstar in Channel V. Recently, she became popular for being a playback singer in the song, Pink Lips from which the Bollywood thriller film, Hate Story 2 uses as their soundtrack and it topped the national and international charts and the song Lak Tunu Tunu from the film, Double Di Trouble.Â
She completed MBA major in Marketing. And then, she made her presence on television as a VJ in B4U since the year 2007. In 2009, she played the role of the partygoer Candy in the Punjabi film, Munde U.K. De. She was also part of the Bollywood horror film, Raaz: The Mystery Continues. She was roped in to play the role of Khushboo Khandelwal on STAR One in the Indian soap,
Rang Badalti Odhani
in 2010. Khushboo was also in the Buena Vista International and the Red Chillies Idiot Box’ show, Ishaan: Sapno Ko Awaaz De. Then in year 2011, she was essayed to do the role of the antagonist, Khushboo Meerchandani in the dance-based fiction show,
Dil Dosti Dance
on Channel V India and as Lipika Mahajan in Sony TV’s Chhajje Chhajje Ka Pyar. In 2012, she appeared as Preet Kaur in the Punjabi comedy film, Carry On Jatta. She was also known as Kaikeyi in the mythological drama, Ramleela – Ajay Devgn Ke Saath.Â
Khushboo became popular for being a runner-up in the Miss India North pageant and in 2002, she was a finalist in the show, Popstar Hunt on Channel V. From being an anchor to compering in some college events, Khushboo has come a very long way. She is currently experimenting on her appearances for films, television and even in documentaries. Â She was also a presenter in the show, Just TV.Â
In 2013, Khushboo made her appearance in the Punjabi comedy film, Bhaji in Problem under the direction of
Smeep Kang
. She played as one of the female lead and one among the two wives of Sundeep Cheema (played by
Gurpreet Ghuggi
). Aside from that, Khushboo was also appeared in the reality-based comedy show, Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali and the dance-based show, Dil Dosti Dance.Â
Khushboo was nominated as The Best Supporting Actress at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2013.
