Born in the Kutchch district of Gujarat, Dincy Vira is an Indian actress and producer. She completed her schooling from the S.V.P. High School in Gandhidham, Gujarat, before moving to Mumbai, Maharashtra for further studies.
She enrolled in the Shri Vrijlal Durlabhdas Valia Junior College of Commerce in Borivali for graduation, followed by which, she attended the K.E.S. Shroff College of Arts & Commerce for her masters. Right after her post-graduation, she auditioned for and landed a supporting role in K.D. Satyam’s comedy-drama “Admissions Open” (2010), starring Anupam Kher.
She portrayed the character of the sister of the protagonist, Ashutosh (played by Abhishek Sharma Abhishek Sharma started his acting career when he >> Read More... ), for which she received wide acclamation. She next featured in another supporting role as Rhea in “Mumbai Mast Kalandar” (2011).
The movie, however, received negative reviews from the critics as well as the audience. In 2015, she founded her production house ‘True Dreams Entertainment,’ with her first production being a short film “ Shivam Click to look into! >> Read More... ” (2016). The movie was a huge success and went on to win six awards at the 2016 Bengaluru International Film Festival.
She debuted on the small screen with an episode of &TV’s real-life crime show “ Savdhaan India Show Story Coming Soon... >> Read More... ” (2012). She was later cast for major supporting roles in Zing TV’s “ Aye Zindagi The power of love is supreme.
