She is an alumnus of Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Acting Institute. In 2008, she was cast as the daughter of Sunila Karambekar on STAR Plus’ Grihasti. She then took a hiatus to lose some weight and when she returned, she was starred in the drama serial, Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, on Colors in the year 2010. Aarti played the role of Seema Gaurav Chopra in the Balaji Telefilms’ Parichay – Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka in 2011.
