‘Anokhi Srivastav’, is an Indian actress who has acted in a number of TV Shows and Hindi films. She was seen in Star Plus, ‘Kahin Toh Hoga’. She has done a show on ‘Sahara One’ called ‘Main Aisi Kyun Hoon’. She has acted in the popular show ‘’. She also acted in the Indian sitcom, ‘’ as ‘Parminder Himanshu Seth’ which was aired on Star One. She essays the role of ‘Bindiya’, a typical village girl in Zee's ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhann’ (English: Let me be your bride). Elaborating further on her role she says, “I’m a childhood friend of Amar (Sharad) in the show and we share a great relationship. The friendship slowly turns into liking but I never let Amar know. We always fool around but somehow Amar does not like me much.” “She is very pampered by everyone in the family. Bindiya always gets whatever she wanted. Now she has also revealed to her parents about what she feels for Amar. He is still not aware about her love so she continues to remain his friend,” she adds. About her role, she says that she was told that Bindiya is an important character that she likes her character. One look at Anokhi Srivastav is enough to convince your heart that this is my-girl-next-door, one who'll be liked by your parents too. But the irony is that looks can be deceiving and it certainly holds true for her. Anokhi means different and this pretty damsel is indeed unlike her name. In fact, she admits to being a tomboy. She says, since she is very much a tomboy, playing a traditional bahu is indeed a difficult task for her. She says that her Creative Director, Mukti is always behind her back and keeps telling her – “Anokhi, sit straight, watch your back, you can't walk so fast in a saree, you need to be very soft in your speech." A confident Anokhi says that she is slowly getting used to wearing sarees. She acted in the Hindi film ‘Hota Hai Dil Pyaar Mein Paagal’ (2006).
