Sumit Sharma

Sumit Sharma is an Indian actor who worked in short films, serials and Bollywood movies. He did his schooling from St Joseph’s convent and later went to DAV Faridabad for doing his bachelor's. Initially, from May 2005 to June 2008, he did a job as Assistant Manager in sales & Marketing for SKF India limited. Later, he worked for Shell India as OEM manager Sales. He wanted to be an actor from an early age. He says his passion for acting comes from his mom, who is a die-hard cinema lover. He is inspired by Shammi Kapoor, Sunil Dutt, and Amitabh Bachchan. 

He started as a Theater actor in May 2010 with N K Sharma’s group ACT ONE, Delhi. Later, he did 5 stories of CID, one story of Adaalat, two stories of Savdhaan India and eight stories of Crime Patrol. His serials include Yashraj’s Kismat in which he did a negative role, MTV story of RUSH by Bejoy Nambiar, Yashraj production’s Khottey Sikkay in which he played a negative character. He has done various festival short film which includes The Saint movie by NSD’s Yashraj Jadhav. The advertisements done by him are for TATA DOCOMO, TATA SKY VIRAL, SBI CORPORATE film. Feature films that he did are Bhushan Patel's Alone (16 January 2015), Nagesh Kukunoor’s Lakshmi (21st March 2014), Rash Productions Dasheera, Dharma Production’s Agneepath (26 January 2012).
