Chand Dhar is a very versatile and fabulous Indian actor and director active in both Indian Bollywood cinema and television series. He got his much awaited fame with his Shyam Bajaj's film Blackmail during the year 2005. Actor Chand Dhar has also acted in the films Ankush (1986), Lajja (2001), Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon (2003), Sheen (2004).

Since 1978, Chand Dhar has done a lot of Kashmiri Programmes and has dubbed a number of popular English films in Hindi. For more than six years, Chand Dhar has worked as a channel voice of Star Plus for enhancing the air promos of this channel.

As a director, Chand Dhar had also directed a Kashmiri show Hai Kya Gome and Truth Payem in Mumbai during the year 1993.

Actor Chand Dhar had worked on numerous television shows, namely Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi (1984, DD National), Campus on Zee Tv, Amanat (1997, Zee Tv), Satya, (1998, Star Plus), Kuchh Pal Sath Tumhara (2003, Sahara One), Deewarein, NoorJahan, Main, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin (2002, Sony Tv), Devi, Gharana, Basera, Kisse Apna Kahein, Fasle and many more.

Chand Dhar has come up with different patters and manifested roles that describes the ethnicity of his passion towards his work, few of the examples are he worked in many mythological series Chanakya (1991, DD National), directed by (1997, Sony TV), Om Namah Shivai (9197, DD National) and Chandrakanta directed by . Chand Dhar was also seen in thriller and horror show like Aahat on Sony Tv and also appeared in a documentary series like Forts Of India and Discovery Of India aired on DoorDarshan television channel.
