He has been active in the world of entertainment since 1979, and with his multiple Hindi and Punjabi movie appearances, he is considered an experienced actor of both of these media. He debuted with a Hindi movie called ‘Dada’, in which he played the role of ‘Bashi’. He was noticed and got other opportunities to work in films such as ‘Maanabhimaan’ (1980), ‘Jazbaat’ (1980) & ‘Jwala Daku’ (1980).
