His parents were the late Ram Prasad Silodi and Shanti Devi. He completed his schooling at the Sant Vivekanand School, Krishna Nagar, Delhi, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. After completing his education, he started working as a model. He is a very famous name in the Uttarakhand music industry. His first music video was "Nathula Wali Bau".
