Sahil Deshmukh is a young Indian television actor, who appeared as the young Akbar in the popular historical fiction television series, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap on Sony Entertainment Television India. However, Sahil has to leave the show when he was diagnosed with Lymphoid Leukemia. His family learnt about his condition on October 11, 2013 and he quits the show midway. He got very disappointed but he could not continue since the doctor advised him to have a bone marrow transplant. He was admitted to Holy Spirit Hospital in Mumbai. Kushal Punjabi is a model turned television actor from India. He was born on April 23, 1982 from a Sindhi Hindu household in Mumbai. His father was hailed from Karachi while her mother was from Hyderabad, but Kushal was born and raised up in Mumbai. When he was a child, he is very active and he likes cycling, swimming, dancing and skating. Later on, he played football and swimming in school. Kushal loves to travel and he is also an adventurer. Initially, he was a dancer and a choreographer until he bumped into modeling. Kushal was trained by Shiamak Davar and from there he entered the glamour world of acting. He joined the Gladrags Manhunt Contest in year 2000. He did various music videos and commercials. He was seen in Shweta Shetty’s music album to the song of Deewane to Deewane Hai in year 1997. His debut in the television was from the serial, A Mouthful of Sky in year 1995 on DD Metro channel. It is the very first English serial that was produced in India. Then, he did the serials like, Love Marriage, King Aassman Ka Ek Raja, and an episodic in the crime-detective show, CID. In 2004, he played the male lead role of Arjun in the Hindi serial, Dekho Magar Pyaar Se. He also played the lead role as Chetan, a good-looking guy who works in an ad agency in the Hindi comedy series, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa on Zee TV. In 2005, he essayed the role of Rahul Arora in the daily soap, Yeh Dil Chahe More on STAR One.  Later, he did the serial Antarishk and reality shows like Fear Factor and Paisa Bhari Padega. Kushal played as lawyer in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasamh Se on Zee TV. He also joined the popular reality show, Mr. and Ms. TV opposite with Jasveer Kaur on Sony TV. He also acted as Aditya in the Hindi serial, Santaan – Har Khushi Hai Tumse on STAR Plus. In 2007, he joined another reality show entitled, Fun on the Run. Then, he did a Pakistani serial in year 2008 entitled, Hum Tum on Geo Entertainment. In the same year, he joined the sing and dance reality show, Ek Se Badhkar Ek on Zee TV. He was paired with Indian singer, Sanchita Bhattyacharya. Kushal later did the show, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat on STAR Plus and joined Sitaron Ki Jung. In year 2010, he did the serial, Guttut Gu and In February 2011, Kushal joined the reality show, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout on Imagine TV. It is the Indian version of the US game show, Wipeout. He won the prize money of ?5 Million. After this, he bagged the role of Alan, the choreographer of Meenakshi (played by Ojaswi Oberoi) on Life OK’s Aasman Se Aage. He also did an episodic in the anthology series, Teri Meri Love Stories on STAR Plus. Kushal also won in the reality show, ‘Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan Nawazi Ki’ on Life OK, together with Shilpa Saklani. He was also part of the weekly crime-based serial, ‘Hum Ne Li Hai…Shapath’ where he played as the killer magician. Recently, he also joined the 7th season of the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a wild card entry. He was debuted as a film actor from the short film, Bomgay in 1996 along with Rahul Bose. In 1998, he essayed the role of Asif in the Indo-American film, Bombay Boys. Kushal also did films like Andaaz, Sssshhh, Lakshya, Kaal, Salaam-e-Ishq and Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal. Kushal is also part of the 2014 Bollywood comedy film, Rock The Shaadi which stars Abhay Deol and Genelia D’ Souza.
