Ravi Jhankal is an experienced Indian stage, television & film personality, who is best known for his appearances in the movies of veteran director ‘ Shyam Benegal’. He is remembered playing multiple characters in the popular television series of 90’s, ‘The Discovery of India’, which was based on the book of the same name, written by Late Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru.

He was also seen plying some noted characters in the television series such as ‘ Byomkesh Bakshi’ (1993), ‘ Swabhimaan’ (1995) and some recent television series such as ‘ Hitler Didi’ (2011), ‘ Apno Ke Liye Geeta Ka Dharmayudh’ (2010) & ‘ Junoon’ (2008). He graduated from the National School of Drama and made up his mind to a career in acting. During his entire career, he has worked with almost all popular personalities associated with the world of acting. He was seen playing a few noted characters in the films such as ‘ Welcome to Sajjanpur’ (2008) and ‘ Well Done Abba’ (2010).
