Raaghav Chanana

Raaghav Chanana is an actor and a stage director. He has also hosted travel shows and has worked in music videos and commercials. He was born on 20 August 1983 in New Delhi. Chanana has studied Economics from LSE. Raaghav’s Shakespeare's Twelfth Night was a hit, and it was there for ten weeks in London's West End, and it made him realize that he is born to be an actor.

He has played Rahim, a typical Bollywood hero in Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan. It toured all over the UK, performed at the Belfast Festival in Ireland, and the Esplanade Festival in Singapore. Raaghav wore director’s hat with Closer of Patrick Marber and Bone of John Donnelly. He then formed his theater company, Fly on the Wall, and directed and produced avant-garde theater in it.

Chanana made his English feature debut with Lessons in Forgetting, which won Best English film National Award. Chanana’s role of Prithvi Singhania in the Indian version of American TV series, 24 was very much appreciated by the audience and was also critically acclaimed. The performers of the show received Golden Petal Award for Best Ensemble Cast on Indian Television (2013).
