Nishikant Dixit is a TV and film actor from Uttar Pradesh and was born on 13th January 1970. Even though he made his film debut in 2004 through the movie ‘’, he became famous with his role in the TV serial ‘’ which was aired on Star Plus. He did his schooling from Aurangabad and later moved to Ghaziabad for his higher studies. Nishikant Dixit is an Electrical Engineering degree holder from MIT, Maharashtra.

He wanted to become an actor since his childhood and he started trying modelling with advertisement agencies after completing his engineering. Even though he didn’t become a main protagonist in the film industry, he succeeded in finding significant roles in all his films. He often goes to his native village in Uttar Pradesh to attend family functions and also to encourage the village youth to be hardworking. His father was a government officer and mother a home maker and he is married to Anjana.

He bagged so many films in Bollywood ever since he debuted in 2004, and his latest release was ‘’ in which he plays the role of an inspector. However, he got fame and recognition, mainly, through two of his television serials – ‘’ and ‘Maayke Se Bandhi Dor’. His portrayal of Raajaram in the latter serial brought him huge critical acclaim.
