Mantra

Mantra is well known television personality and an Indian film, television and theatre actor. Before venturing into acting, Mantra was known as the RJ of popular Mumbai radio show on Red FM.

Mantra, born Puranjit Das Gupta, is the son of Chandra Das Gupta and Prabir Das Gupta. He adopted the name Mantra while working as a radio jockey in Radio Mirchi. He has worked in radio for over a decade and in a range of popular stations like Radio Mirchi, Red FM and Radio City among others.

Mantra has hosted several award ceremonies, musical and entertainment events. He has appeared in TVC for several products like Style Spa Furnishings, Yummmies, Windows Phone and Valvoline Engine Oil. Mantra was awarded the promax award for his radio show Mumbai Local and has won RAPA Award for Best Radio Jockey two times.
