Godaan Kumar Is The Professional Pseudonym Of Ravendra Kushwaha, Who Was Born Under The Sun Sign Of Leo On 30th August, 1986. He Is An Indian Television, Film And Theatre Actor, Who Is Widely Popular For His Role In “Dhadak” (2018), Where He Portrayed The Character Of Roop Singh Rathore, Brother Of The Female Protagonist Parthavi (Played By Janhvi Kapoor). He Was Born And Raised In The Capital City Of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh And Graduated From The Prestigious National School Of Drama (N.S.D.), New Delhi In 2014.

Before That He Had Acted In Several Stage Plays As A Child Artist Since 2002 And Also Received Scholarships In The Field Of Acting From The Ministry Of Culture, New Delhi From 2007 To 2009. He Appeared In Minor Roles In TV Serials On DD National And Its Sister Channel DD Kisan Before His Career On Television Took Flight When He Bagged The Lead Role Of King Ashok In The Second Season Of Epic TV’s Historical Mini-Series “Lootere: Bandits Of British India” (2016).

He Was Later Seen In “Rakkt” (2015), Another Epic TV Presentation. Soon Afterwards, He Auditioned For And Was Casted In His Debut Bollywood Movie “Ittefaq” (2017), Starring Siddharth Malhotra, With Whom He Has Also Worked In His Upcoming Movie “Marjaavan”. His Latest Opus Is A Supporting Role In Saif Ali Khan’s Next Movie “Laal Kaptaan”, Which Is Scheduled To Release In September This Year. Godaan Continued To Contribute To The World Of Theatre Through His Associations With Many Stage Production Houses, Including The Famed Surnai Theatre & Folk Arts Foundation In Mumbai, Maharashtra. His Most Recent Acts Consist Of “The Lady From The Sea”, “Yashodhara”, “Vyaktigat”, “Maarechika”, “Satyabodh”, “Okhdhuni” And “Lok Rang”. He Currently Resides In Mumbai With His Wife, Payal Ravendra, Who Is A Professional Bharatnatyam Dancer And Choreographer.
