The chef Kunal Kapur born in New Delhi, India is an Indian celebrity chef, best known as the judge of the TV serial Master Chef in India Season 1 to 3 on the channel Star Plus. Chef Kunal has been recognized among the Best Chefs in India by India Today a National Weekly Magazine and Indian Culinary at the start of his career. As his early lessons on cooking from his grandfather and sometimes from his father, he initiated his career around the year 2000, from the Taj hotels.

After a long career from Taj hotels, now he is an Executive Sous Chef at the Leela Kempinski in a city named Gurgaon. Kunal also opened a restaurant which has achieved the Best Restaurant Award.InJanuary 2008,he was one of the Best Indian chefs in Delhi, according to India Today. Kunal has made multiple television appearances in India as well as abroad. He judged for the popular television show Master Chef India in Star Plus.
