Chirag Mahbubani

Chirag Mahbubani is a television actor who is well known for his performances in shows such as Yeh Jawaani Tara Ri Ri, Gumrah, and Confessions of an Indian Teenager on Channel V. He also features in Dahleez on Star Plus as Swadhinta’s brother Asrad. Chirag was born and brought up in Mumbai, Maharashtra and he did his graduation in Mass Media from R.D. National College, Bandra, affiliated to the Mumbai University.

Ever since Chirag was a child, he used to take part in plays at school and in college. He has played several roles in different genres in many plays and dramas all through his academic life, and he has also participated in several national level competitions at the college level.

Due to his continuous hard work, talent and skill, Chirag has now established himself as a celebrated name in the Hindi television industry. His looks and his flawless acting skills are appreciated by both the audience and the critics. His first show was Channel V’s Ye Jawaani Tara Ri Ri, in which he played the role of Aditya Khosla aka Cheeku, the male lead of the show. Chirag was actually shortlisted for the roles of both Dodo and Cheeku, but finally, he was selected as the male lead on the show.

According to Chirag, he enjoys working with his colleagues on the sets of Ye Jawaani Tara Ri Ri, and he relates a lot more to the character of Dodo, than he does with the role of Cheeku. But he is quite happy with his role and acting in the television series.
