Annkur P Agarwal is a Co-founder of Pricebaba, Mumbai, India. He went to St. Xaviers High School, and later, he studied at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Associations M.L. Dahanukar College of Commerce (2002-2004), and graduated from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s- Usha and Lakshmi Mittal Institute of Management (2004-2007).
He volunteered to get Techstars Startup Weekend to get started in and worked with the team to organize Startup Weekends across Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, and Mumbai. In 2016, He Co-founded & was CEO of Saint for a year. Saint is a solution for GST compliance, which covers all types of GST returns and helps business, be efficient in managing their GST filings & reconciliation.
He worked as a consultant at Saint in the same year for four months. Later in 2018, he worked at Entrepreneur in Residence (a blockchain company). He then worked as a Clerk-2-CEO for six and a half years at Pricebaba. Pricebaba is a product research engine that helps consumers search for the right and accurate product, figure where to buy it (online/offline) and at what price to purchase it. Apart from this, he acted as the crucial planner of bare amps, Blogcamps & Startup Weekends. He started his journey in 2002 as a mobile retailer at the age of 15.
In 2008, he started his e-commerce site. He met Tirthesh Ganatra (Co-founder) during a train journey from Bangalore to Mumbai. Rohan Naravane, who works alongside him, is the Head of Content at Pricebaba. His skills include entrepreneurship, e-commerce, marketing, retail, online marketing, and team management. He promoted Bengaluru-based startup #Refrens and did a non-technical introduction to Bitcoin Blockchain that also explains how the supply works.
He got selected by 500 startups Accelerator and talked about on tech sites like “Tech Crunch” & “The Next Web (TNW).” Annkur Agarwal was interviewed by a site called Yo! Success and it was published on Saturday, May 16, 2015. The interview was focused on an overview of product(s)/services & what inspired him to build them.
In the interview, he also talks about all the challenges he faced, how he overcame those challenges & what was the most challenging part of his journey. Furthermore, he speaks about tips to success and plans for upcoming years regarding Pricebaba.
In another interview (Gadgetz Media) he talks about a few tips for starting entrepreneurs and shares his interest and hobbies. “I am not very different from my online persona, happy, critical of bad UX, generally friendly, and obsessed with a few things at any given point of time.
I like to write, explore new books, play badminton, and whenever I can,” says Agarwal. He says his goal is to make Pricebaba the best product research engine on the planet! Agarwal maintains his blog (annkur.com), which is created on June 17, 2008. In the blog, he speaks about how he trusts his self-hosted blog to do better not-keeping than twitter or Facebook.
