He has performed in films produced by Mike Pande of Delhi, who got the Magasya Award in filmmaking. He has acted in a film on drug abuses directed by Sh. Late Harish Chawla of Harish Chawla films of Delhi. He has acted as a Sadhu in the religious movie Guga Jahar Pir. Gurucharan was the main Villain in the film Sawa Lakh Se Ek Larhaoon. He has also acted in the film Kesari Niahaan Jhoolde as a villain. He is famous for acting as a Drunkard in the film Police Chhapa.
