Rupankar Das

Rupankar Das is an Indian video editor, actor, and creative director working mainly in the Jollywood industry. Born and brought up in Assam, Rupankar celebrates his birthday in August. He got married to Dipamoni in 2017 and has a son named Lithvik. Rupankar's hobbies include photography, and he currently resides in Guwahati city of Assam. Rupankar's debut movie as an actor is the upcoming Assamese movie Deuka: The Wings. He is also the editor of Deuka, the shooting of which began in 2017. Rupankar starred as one of the leading actors in an Assamese short film titled 5 Hours 35 minutes.

Some of his notable works include Premor Pakghor, Enajori, Arajnaiteek, Guwahati Saga, and Romeo in Jeng. He has edited six mega serials for Assamese television. Rupankar directed his first short film, Shooter, in 2009, the shooting of which took place in Delhi. The 2015 Rang channel's television drama Girl's Hostel marks his first project as an editor. Rupankar Das is currently freelancing as a video editor for various productions.
