Reyansh Chadha

Nikhil ‘Reyansh’ Chaddha is Indian television actor and model, who is most well-known for playing the lead role of Ahaan Wadhera in &TV’s “Kahaani Hamari…Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki” (2016). He was born on 14th February 1987 in the national capital of New Delhi. His parents separated when he was barely six months old. The incident scarred his childhood, and he grew up loathing his father for leaving him and his mother on their own. He completed his schooling from Salwan Public School, New Delhi and graduation from the University of Arts, Mumbai. He initially aspired to become a model but later joined theatre in Delhi when he discovered that his passion for acting was more overpowering. He even worked as a cabin crew member for Jet Airways before moving to Mumbai in pursuit of a career in the showbiz.

Reyansh’s ability to display a variety of emotions and infuse into his character the required panache made him a prominent talent on television.

His hate for his father had not subsided and so in 2015, on his mother’s birthday, he changed his first name from Nikhil to Reyansh and his surname from Chaddha to Bhatia, which was his mother’s maiden name. However, later, he found out that his parents had fallen out of the marriage because of mistakes made on both of their parts and not just his father. Reyansh had had no contact with him whatsoever over the previous years and set out to search for him in the city where he was last known to reside. There, he was told by one of his father’s batchmates that his father had passed away a few years ago. Reyansh let go of the grudge he had born all these years against his father and organized a puja ceremony in his memory. He currently resides in Mumbai and is working on his upcoming TV serial scheduled to air later this year.
