It is an adaptation of Hemingway classic “The old man and the sea.” The act is directed by Sasidharan Naduvil and presented by Remembrance Theatre Group. The play staged at K.T. Mohammad Memorial Regional Theatre, Thrissur from April 23-30, 2013. This act got the Best Stage Design Award, at the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Award. The winner was Sam Kutty Pattimkari from Resemblance Theatre Group. The play also got selected for the National school of drama international theater festival (Bharat Rang Mahotsav, 2014).

The actor was also part of Neru Film’s Chayiliam. The picture won many national and international awards. The plot depicts the plight of a woman, who is overcoming the death of her husband and how she is facing the social norms of the society. The movie portrays red shades of feminism. He characterized Camilo in a play written by Karivellur Murali, Cheguevara. The play based on the life of an Argentinian revolutionary Marxist, Che Guevara. Manoj played the antagonist in Jalasayanam. The movie released in 2014. The plot is about Krishnan who lives with her daughter. Krishnan’s neighbor, the fisherman (Manoj) abuses his daughter physically. Knowing this Krishnan murders the fisherman, his daughter and in the end, kills himself too. The feature got the Best Film Award, The Golden Royal Bengal Tiger Award, at Kolkata International Film Festival. He was also part of the play, Pirana, directed by Manoj Kana.

He played a character role in Sasidharan Naduvil’s “Save Our Soul.” The lead actor, Sandhya Murukesh was the second best actress in the State Amateur Drama Competition, organized by Kerala Sangeeth Nataka Akademy.
