Neel Tolani was Encouraged to pursue theatre as a means to express himself. At the age of 14, he started theatre at Kodaikanal International School. Neel was the first cast in a lead role as Phileas Fogg in Around the World in 80 Days, which was directed by theatre Veteran, Mr. Donald Oberdorfer. Neel was cast in some challenging, lead roles, on two further occasions, first as Henry Higgins in Pygmalion, the non-musical version of My Fair Lady, and later as Wetherby Pond in The Happiest Days of Your Life.
After graduating from high school, Neel chose to take a year gap and work in film and production. During this period, Neel worked as a production assistant in the crossover film, named The Other End Of The Line. He moved to London for his studies. After graduating from the university, he rejected his offer for a master's degree from Imperial College London in Strategic Marketing to return to India to act in the theatre once again. Once he came back, Neel was cast alongside one of India's biggest theatre personalities, Alyque Padamsee Alyque Padamsee (originally born Alyque Charanya) >> Read More... , as co-lead Biff Loman in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. Neel has acted in some corporate films for brands like The Taj Group of Hotels and Kanakia builders, and more. Other than being an actor, Neel works as a voice-over artist and an assistant director.
