Chirag Sethi was born in a town named Rajpura, near Chandigarh. Although we know him for his contribution to the industry of films and television that is not what Sethi was interested in at first. For a very long time, Chirag Sethi had taken care of and nurtured the passion he had for playing cricket, so much so that he wanted to represent his country and decided to take training for the same. His parents, however, were not really supportive of the idea, because of which he finally had to put an end to his dream of being a cricketer. Chirag Sethi had finally decided to take up acting and dancing more seriously and took training at Shiamak Davar Institute of Performing Arts. It was at this place that he was selected to perform in the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth Games that took place in Melbourne, Australia in 2006.

After working and struggling in a few advertisements he finally got a chance to show his skills when he was chosen to play a role in ‘Thuppaki’- a film made in the industry of the South. His performance, in fact, was so outstanding that it won him critical acclaim. Chirag Sethi also played the role of Udhariya in the horror-comedy film Nanu ki Jaanu that was released in 2018.
