Harmanjot Khabra has been officially named as Harmanjot Singh Khabra, who was born on 18th December 1988 in Punjab, India. Khabra is an Indian footballer. He plays as a midfielder, defender, and winger in his matches, but has expertise in defending. Khabra started his career as a youth at Tata Football Academy in Jamshedpur, before 2006.

He then joined a club in goa named Sporting Club de Goa (SCG) in 2006. He made his first appearance in IFA Shield, in which he scores two Goals against ARMY XI in the same year. Then he has been seen in the finals of Federation cup 2006 against Mohun Bagan. Khabra was honored with the promising player award of the Durand Cup in the year 2006.

On 15th November 2008, they played against East Bengal and lost by 3-1 with the only goal made by Khabra. In SCG, he appeared sixty-one times and scored eleven goals in total. On 30th April 2009, a contract has been signed by Sandhu for the East Bengal with League’s sponsorship. It took Khabra 3 years to start playing for East Bengal.

In his first league for East Bengal, he scored two-goal against Air India and won by 3-0 on 10th November 2012. Khabra made a sensational goal against Mohun Bagan in the 43rd minute through the header, which made him the HERO of East Bengal Club on 9th December 2012. Later Khabra has been honored as the vice-captain of his team.

On 8th July 2014, he became the captain of the East Bengal team. He made sixty-two appearances, in which he scored four goals. Khabra has also got the man of the match award as the Captain in the I-League fixture against Bengaluru FC. Khabra has entered into the Indian Super League on 22nd July 2014 and have been picked as the first choice of Chennaiyin FC in ISL Inaugural Domestic Draft 2014.

Khabra played against Kerala blaster on 21st October 2014 with no goals scored by him, but an assist for Bernard Mendy. His next debut was on 29th October 2014 against Mumbai City FC, where he assisted Stiven Mendoza, where Elano scored two goals and won by 5-1. He has made twenty-eight appearances in Chennaiyin but scored no goals. Later in 2017, Khabra signed a contract with Bengaluru FC. From the year 2017, he made thirty-three appearances and scored one goal and counting. He is looking forward to achieving a higher success rate.
