Anirudhacharya Ji

Anirudhacharya ji, also known as Anirudh Tiwari, is a spiritual leader, social worker and religious storyteller. He was born on 27 September 1989 in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. His father Shri Avadheshanand Giri was a Hindu Priest and a Bhagwatacharya. Anirudhacharya ji could not continue his schooling as he faced many financial struggles. He started his spiritual journey as a storyteller, and under the guidance of his guru Shri Girraj Shastri Ji Maharaj, he studied Hindu sculptures and Sanskrit at Vrindavan. He explains the teachings excitingly and straightforwardly which made him a popular spiritual figure. He established the Gauri Gopal Ashram in Vrindavan, Uttar Prades, where he offers and supports older people and needy people with food and shelter. He also provides spiritual guidance for these people. Anirudhacaharya started an Annapurna Rasoi program, and his main goal is that no people should stay hungry.

He has the highest followers who listen to his spiritual story. Apart from this, he shares his spiritual sessions mixed with modern humour on social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and Instagram which attracted many youths. Due to his unique way of story-telling, he is also known as Pookie Baba or Pookie Maharaj, and he has around 25 million followers across various social media platforms. He was honored by the World Book of Records London in 2023 for having a massive number of followers on YouTube. He is married to Aarti Tiwari, also known as Guru Mata. She also conducts Bhajans and gives sermons. The couple has two children- Om and Shivu.
