Anuj Mathur

Anuj Mathur is a legendary sound designer of films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kal Ho Na Ho Mohabbatien to name just a few. One of Anuj Mathur’s many theories is that sound mixing is at its best to isolate and emphasise the specific sounds if you want the audience to experience, rather than blasting everything at once. He joined the Yash Raj Films a two decades back almost with Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge when he was a sound designer, and now he is chief recording engineer with Yash Raj Films.

Today as a chief recording engineer, he has to perform many jobs such as re-recording mixer, supervising sound editor and designer and dialogue supervisor also. His brilliant sound engineer who goes to show that it takes the whole team of people to record, edit, mix and finesses every sound effect and note of music.
