Shyamoli Sanghi, fondly called the Indian Hannah Montana was born in June 1998 in Mumbai, India. After her college in Mumbai, she moved along with her family to the USA, where she attended her high institution at Stanford University in California. The talented Shyamoli is a singer but studied Maths and Philosophy at the university. She is from a family of four, her father’s name, is Sharad Sanghi, and her mother is Nirali Sanghi. Her brother’s name, is Siddhant Sanghi. Shyamoli made her first debut as a singer with the song Tu Na Aaya which hit 13 million views on YouTube in one month. Although Shyamoli started as a Hindustani classical music student at age 6, she was trained by Shampa Pakrashi under Gandharva Mahavidyalaya musical school. After the success of her first song in 2018, she released two more songs in 2019 titled Dorr and Ahida.
Shyamoli also released the song Ladka Mamuli Sa In 2019. Shyamoli Sanghi has sung as a playback singer in various TV series such as Balaji’s, Kalash- Ek, Vishwaasand, Ajeeb, and Dastan Hai. In her college days she was part of the Talisman group, where she performed in various languages including, Zulu, Xhosa, Spanish, Mandarin, and Shona. She is very good at playing tabla and harmonium. In an interview, she spoke about how she was able to balance her career and schooling she said; She tried to manage her time and prioritize what was to be done, and this helped her find a balance. After completing her first year at university, she had to take a six-month break to record her first two singles – Tu Na Aaya and Dorr, and her third song, Ahida, a Sufi composition, has just been released. Now, she has resumed her studies and giving equal importance to both aspects of her life. And she advised that anyone who wishes to make a career in this field or any other should focus on their goals and what they want to achieve.
