Rimita Mukherjee

Rimita Mukherjee is an Indian singer from Kolkata. Rimita has been a playback singer in Mumbai since 1995, doing many prestigious shows and recordings. Her love for music has led her to compose music as well. She loves to create good music. Rimita has also learned kathak for nine years, completing Nritya Bhushan. Since her childhood, she had inclined toward music and classical dance. She has polished her musical skills under the guidance of renowned names such as Pt Jagdish Prasad of Patiala Gharana, Kalyanji Bhai Shah, Pt Ravi Shankar Sharma, and Jotileshwar Mukherjee. Her mother has also played a significant role in stimulating her passion for music. Her mother taught her Rabindra Sangeet and Nazrul Geeti.

Her mother herself possesses a degree from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. She is pursuing her career in music in terms of singing, composing music, and doing various stage shows.
