Ravi Shukla

Ravi Shukla is the promising singer of the younger generation. He is one of the very few performers in musical competition programme that appears in Indian television. Ravi Shukla started learning music since young age. Ravi Shukla was just 23 years old when he became the Star Voice of India in 2008. He won Rs 25 lakhs, a Chevrolet car and three-year singing contract from musical company T.Series. Later he donated a part of his money to an orphanage. His dream was to record a song with all the 12 participants of the show under a contract that he had signed with T.Series.

He felt that God was kind to him and even audience positive reaction has fetched him the coveted award. His favourite film is Jannat. Earlier in 2004, the singer was selected for the first session of ‘Indian Idol’ show. Though he did not win the contest, it trained him to be a better singer. A good singing voice can always be trained and hence he undertook to train from Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa Academy in Mumbai. But this singer was born with a better voice and he learnt quicker.

In all his training session as a participant, he felt that a good singing voice can be taught. Ravi Shukla is a disciple of Pandit Jayanto Bose in June 2005.
