Rani Hazarika is a North Indian professional playback singer. She has sung for many songs in the Hindi film industry. Some of her famous songs are Nas Nas Mein from the movie Welcome Back, Naina Huve Bawre, Sarkar from the movie Udanchhoo and many more. She is interested in singing and acting. Rani Hazarika was born on 7th October. She grew up in the city of Guwahati in Assam. Her family members were all involved in music, and hence the interest and talent came naturally to Rani Hazarika. She got her school education from Ambari High School at Sylhet. She has a professional degree in B. Music from Bhatkhande Sangit Vidyapith or Bhatkhande Music Institute University in Vocals which is located at Lucknow, and she passed out of this college in the year 2007.

Rani Hazarika started singing from a tender age of six. She also performed in various stage shows. Rani Hazarika has been a playback singer for many Assamese films and albums. She has also anchored many reality shows such as Northeast Wave Northeast Ke Superstars in the year 2011. Rani Hazarika has also participated in many reality shows thereby making her a well-recognized face in the Assam music industry. She is the managing director at AR Music Studio located in Mumbai. She started this studio in the year 2014. Rani Hazarika moved to Mumbai to start her career as a playback singer. She learned professional music under the guidance of the talented sangeet guru Santhosh Pandit and the Bollywood playback singer Jaspinder Narula.

After some training, she started singing in films, serials, advertisement films, and albums. Even when she started singing in movies, Rani Hazarika still participated in reality shows and singing competitions. She was part of the music show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar, Vice of India Mumbai, Bollywood Club of ZOOM TV, Rock The Dhun and many more shows. Rani Hazarika was one of the finalists in Voice of India and a Meg Finalist in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in the year 2010. Rani Hazarika has worked as a playback singer for the movies Choo le Aasmaan, EK – The Power of One, Memsaab, Yeh Kaisa Karz Hai, Kranti – The Revolutionary, Shudra – The Rising. Other than Bollywood films, Rani Hazarika has also performed as a playback singer in many regional movies from Assamese, Chhattisgarhi, Bhojpuri, Telugu, Malayalam, Maithili and other industries. She has lent her voice also in TV commercials and title tracks.

A classical singer and a mother of two, Padma Wadkar started taking music lessons right since the age of eight. Ever since she was a teenager, she started teaching music to others. She is also a music teacher and the vice principal of the Ajivasan academy. She married the playback singer Suresh Wadkar, and they have two daughters - Ananya and Gia. Although she is yet to make her cut in Bollywood playback singing, Padma is content with her career as it is. She enjoys teaching children and spreading her passion for music. In her opinion, it is not necessary for aspiring playback singers today to take up music lessons. She dreams of creating a platform for singers beyond Bollywood. In March 2015, Padma, along with her husband Suresh, singing star Sonu Nigam and Shreyas Puranik, came up with an album called 'Morey Piya.' Zakir Hussain and Asha Bhosle, two of the most shining stars in the field of music officially launched the album. She had been recording with Shreyas, who was her student at Suresh Wadkar Ajivasan Music Academy, but had been reluctant to make an album of all those songs. Finally, she gave into the idea, and Morey Piya received a better response than she anticipated. The songs in her album are all love songs, adhering to people of all ages. Padma has also been a faculty member of the television show Fame Gurukul. Both her daughters are as into music as their parents and hope to make it big in the industry. While her album received an overwhelming response from the audience, she is still undecided about entering mainstream playback singing and chose not to comment on her plans about it in an interview.
