Pavithra Chari

From New Delhi, Pavithra Chari is a multi-talented artist. She is a playback singer, composer, and vocalist. Pavithra is a former US Department of State employee who earned a psychology degree from Delhi University's one of the most reputed and well-known Lady Shri Ram College for Women. She holds certifications from reputable institutions like UNESCO and CID (France) as a creative movement and expressive arts therapist. Together with her musical accomplishments, Pavithra has also taken part in several artist residencies, including Onebeat USA (2018), South Asia Music Residency, Ethno World (Germany, Belgium), Shri Netar Kanpur Scholarship 2015, and many more. She had training in Bharatanatyam dance from Smt. Srinivasan Kanaka. The Himachali and Hindi drama Saanj served as Pavithra Chari's film debut in 2017. She has also performed in ads for well-known companies like HCL, Indigo Airlines, and Hero Moto Corp. In addition to being a gifted artist, Pavithra Chari is a social worker and an activist. She rescued stray animals and abandoned pets, supported the LGBTQ community, raised money for numerous charities, spoke out against human rights violations in Darjeeling, and taught music to disadvantaged and at-risk youngsters.
