Pavithra Balajee is an Indian singer. Pavithra Balajee was born on 17 December 1995 in Tamil Nadu. She comes from a family of musicians and is a fourth-generation artist herself. Pavithra Balajee’s grandfather is the famous music director D.B. Ramachandran, who composed ‘Vinayagane Vinai Theerpavane.’ Even her grandmother was a singer for Hema Malini’s dances. Her great-grandfather, known as Krishnaswamy Iyengar, was a renowned figure in the world of drama, while her father pursued a career as a percussionist. Pavithra Balajee first rose to fame as the only Tamilian to make it to the top 30 in the Youtube reality show: ARRived. The singer hosts a weekly podcast called ‘Pavithra Balajee’s Tarangam‘ on Raaga Talk. In 2016 he opened a youtube account and quickly gained popularity from her singing videos and covers.Â
